G20

The year of 2022 marked as Indonesia’s presidency of the G20, while Germany held the presidency of the G7. In relation to this, Germanwatch and IRID partnered to carry out a series of activities related to G7 and G20 issues, involving the Government of Indonesia, the Government of Germany, civil society groups, and think tanks engaged in G7 and G20 processes.

The collaboration aimed to provide inputs to G7 and G20 processes from civil society and think tank perspectives, particularly on loss and damage finance, sustainable finance, and energy transition. The implementation of this partnership included a series dialogues and discussions between government and non-government stakeholders.
