The meeting brought together the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/unfccc.int\/loss-and-damage-fund-joint-interim-secretariat#Board\">26 Board Members and their alternates<\/a><\/span> representing developed and developing countries. The meeting was also attended by observers from UN organizations, intergovernmental organizations, and non-government organizations admitted under the UNFCCC process. Several key agenda items that are discussed at its Fifth Board Meeting are the start-up phase of the Fund, establishment of the Budget Committee, and the adoption of the Barbados Implementation Modalities (BIM) for 2025-2026.
