Istilah COP \u2013 yang merupakan singkatan dari _<\/font> <\/em>\u2013 seringkali digunakan oleh banyak pemangku kepentingan. Walau demikian, tidak banyak orang yang mengetahui bagaimana proses pengambilan keputusan di dalam COP. Saat ini bahkan sudah ada 3 (tiga) COP atau _<\/font> <\/em>dikarenakan adanya 3 (tiga) perjanjian\/persetujuan terkait perubahan iklim. Pertama adalah proses pengambilan keputusan yang terkait dengan Konvensi Perubahan Iklim yang disebut dengan COP (Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change<\/em>), kedua adalah yang terkait dengan Protokol Kyoto yang disebut dengan CMP (Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol<\/em>), dan ketiga adalah yang terkait dengan Persetujuan Paris yang disebut dengan CMA (Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Panduan ini disusun agar pembaca mendapatkan informasi terkait proses negosiasi iklim yang dilaksanakan setiap tahunnya dalam konteks United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change <\/em>(UNFCCC). Panduan ini juga dapat digunakan oleh mereka yang baru pertama kali mengikuti negosiasi iklim di bawah UNFCCC.
