As an open and neutral organization, IRID supports gender equity, two out of four its co-founders are women. IRID will employ and treat people based on their capabilities that suites to the need of the organization, not based on their gender, ethnicity, nor religion.<br \/>Established on 13 December 2020 in Jakarta, Indonesia, IRID was founded with a strong vision to continuously promote decarbonized and climate resilient development, not only in<br \/>Indonesia, but also at the global level. IRID works in the areas of, but not limited to, climate<br \/>policy and negotiation, carbon market, renewable energy policy and development, climate<br \/>finance as well as environment and climate law. IRID also aims to not only raise awareness<br \/>but also to build capacity of relevant stakeholders to make them able to actively contribute<br \/>in the effort to achieve decarbonized and climate resilient societies.<\/p>\n<p>To achieve our vision, IRID is currently looking for a <b>Communications Coordinator,<\/b> with the<br \/>following tasks and requirements.<br \/><br \/>Under the direct supervision of Policy Advocacy Director, the Communications Coordinator<br \/>will undertake the following tasks:<\/p>\n<p><b>1. Contribute to the planning, design and implementation of internal and external strategies for communication, public engagement, and outreach:<\/b><br \/>+ Lead the development and implementation of IRID\u2019s communication and public engagement strategy and work plan;<br \/>+ Draft press releases, fact sheets, talking points, reports, information materials, newsletter,<br \/>presentations, blogs and key messages, in coordination with Policy Advocacy Officers and Researchers;<br \/>+ Coordinate the design and maintenance of the IRID\u2019s communication products, including<br \/>printed, website and digital engagement tools;<br \/>+ Prepare and disseminate publications to key stakeholders, including donors, government<br \/>counterparts and the media; and<br \/>+ Ensure that all IRID&#8217;s external communications have a consistent style, tone and<br \/>branding.<\/p>\n<p><b>2. Devise and follow a public engagement plan for promoting the activities of IRID:<\/b><br \/>+ Manage digital engagement with key audiences via IRID\u2019s website and social media<br \/>channels;<br \/>+ Serve as a focal point for media and public inquiries;<br \/>+ Develop blog posts and content for IRID\u2019S website, ensuring consistency of materials<br \/>and messages, in coordination with Policy Advocacy Officers and Researchers;<br \/>+ Regularly monitor references to IRID in online and print media; and<br \/>+ Maintain regular contact with media partners, covering print, TV, radio and web<\/p>\n<p><b>3. Monitor trends and latest developments relevant to data innovation and IRID&#8217;s activities:<\/b><br \/>+ Maintain a monthly monitoring and evaluation report of IRID\u2019s communication outputs;<br \/>+ Track publications, events, conferences and statements of interest to IRID;<br \/>+ Keep IRID\u2019s senior management team abreast of upcoming activities in the work plan;<br \/>and<br \/>+ Liaise and maintain regular contact with key stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p><b>4. Support IRID\u2019s business development:<\/b><br \/>+ Assist in the organization of events (for example workshops, webinars, etc.);<br \/>+ Assist with the preparation of other project materials, including donor reports, talking<br \/>points and official statements as requested; and<br \/>+ Provide timely and effective responses to inquiries for public information materials.<\/p>\n<p><b>5. Administrative matters, which shall be conducted in coordination with operational and<br \/>finance team:<\/b><br \/>+ To work on administration required for relevant consultants\/vendors. Several tasks<br \/>related to this, not limited to drafting the scope of work of relevant consultants\/vendors,<br \/>including payment request;<br \/>+ Should the Communications Coordinator need to conduct travel, s\/he will be required<br \/>to prepare all administrative requirements in coordination with operational and finance<br \/>team;<br \/>+ Managing the Communications team to deliver all communications outputs.<br \/><b style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><br \/><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Selection criteria:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>+ Master\u2019s degree and minimum five years of professional experience, or Bachelor\u2019s degree<br \/>and at least seven years of professional experience, in a relevant discipline;<br \/>+ Experience in communicating complex technical concepts in a clear, compelling and<br \/>concise manner and developing messages that are accessible to a range of audiences;<br \/>+ Proven writing, editing and speaking skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English and an ability<br \/>to convey complex ideas in a clear, direct, and engaging style;<br \/>+ Keen understanding of the political landscape and different stakeholder groups \u2014 including civil society, media and the private sector;<br \/>+ Capacity to work simultaneously on a variety of issues and tasks independently, adjusting<br \/>to priorities and achieving results with agreed objectives and deadlines;<br \/>+ Demonstrated ability to function as a team player in a multicultural team, within and<br \/>across teams, and deliver on complex and sometimes parallel tasks on very tight deadlines;<br \/>+ Eager and willing to learn new issues, particularly related to decarbonization and climate<br \/>resilience;<br \/>+ Have basic understanding on climate change issues will be
